The Tenuta di Spannocchia in Tuscany has a long history of farming, dating back to the mezzandria (sharecropping) system that arose in the middle ages. This original garlic strain was brought back from our honeymoon back in 2018. We have grown it for the past 5 seasons selecting the hardiest of bulbs. Great mild flavor that stores deep into the Winter. This is a very unique strain that we are proud to offer!
